Monroe County plans to repair the Turk Hill Road bridge about 140 feet north of Cobb's Lane from spring to fall 2027. Turk Hill Road stays open during the work. The ramp between Turk Hill Road and the Erie Canal trail will close during construction; trail users can park at the Cobb's Lane lot instead. The project is in design now, with final design in fall 2026.

The bridge carries Turk Hill Road over a tributary of Thomas Creek. Crews will fit a new 164-foot coated metal liner inside the existing metal pipe arch, built in 1984, and add stone slope protection and headwall repairs. The county says this should extend the bridge's life by about 50 years. The work should take about five months and is estimated at $3.65 million, from the state BridgeNY program and the county. It needs temporary easements on some neighboring properties.

The county hasn't set exact dates or said how long the ramp will be closed; it says it will send more information in spring 2027.
