Terms of Use

Last updated October 3, 2026. Here & Main is run by Holaxis ("we"). By using the site, its feeds or its data, you agree to these terms.

What this guide is

Here & Main is a free, independent guide to what is on, open and changing in Fairport. No government, business or event organizer runs it.

It is information, not a promise. Events get canceled and hours change. Before you go, check with the organizer, the business or the public body. Each page links to its source, and the source is the authority. If we differ from the source, follow the source.

How the content is made

Listings are gathered and updated automatically from public sources, by software that includes AI tools, and are not reviewed one by one. Some items, such as some events and alerts, are copied from a provider's feed as they are.

Each page names its sources and when they were last checked. Missing information is not a guess: no price does not mean free, and missing hours do not mean closed.

Corrections

If something is wrong or missing, email corrections@hereandmain.com. Corrections and new listings are free and never depend on sponsorship. We check each one against a source, so we may not make every change you ask for.

Accuracy and liability

We fix mistakes when we find them, but we cannot promise the guide is complete, current or error-free. The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or harm from using the guide or relying on it, such as a trip to a closed shop, a missed event or a wrong time. For safety alerts, road closures, voting or permits, use the official source. Alerts can be delayed. In an emergency, call 911.

Content and licenses

  • Our text: the guide's own writing, layout and selection belong to Holaxis. You may quote short passages with a link back.
  • Facts such as dates, times and addresses are free to use. Please link to the source.
  • Photos are credited where they appear. Many are shared by others under their own licenses, such as Creative Commons licenses or the public domain. Those licenses, not these terms, say how you may reuse them. Photos credited to Here & Main may not be reused without permission.
  • Some listings and data come from open-data publishers and public agencies under their own licenses. The About page and each page's sources name them.
  • Names and logos belong to their owners and do not imply endorsement.

Acceptable use

You may read, link to, print and share pages. Please do not:

  • break the law using the site;
  • try to break into, overload or disrupt the site;
  • send false, misleading or spam corrections or posts, or pose as a business you do not represent;
  • present our content as your own, or remove photo credits or license notices.

Bots and AI agents

Automated readers are welcome, and robots.txt allows crawling. We publish llms.txt as a map for AI agents. It lists our feeds and data files. In browsers that support WebMCP, pages offer read-only agent tools that search and read public records. They cannot change a listing, submit anything or see anything private.

If you build on our data:

  • Prefer the feeds and JSON files listed in llms.txt over scraping pages.
  • Keep request rates modest, and identify your client with a contact address in its User-Agent.
  • When you answer from this data, link to the page or the original source, and give the as-of time.
  • Do not present an old snapshot as current.
  • Keep photo credits and license notices with any photo you reuse.
  • The agent tools are read-only. Do not use the site to submit, post or change anything.

We may block clients that harm the site.

Google Maps Platform

We use the Google Places API, part of Google Maps Platform, behind the scenes to flag listings that may need checking. No Google Maps content is shown on this site.

Use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship helps pay for the guide.

  • Sponsored content is always labeled "Paid sponsorship".
  • It sits in its own slot.
  • It never changes what is listed, the order of lists, distances or any fact.
  • Listings and corrections are free and never depend on sponsorship.

We do not control the sites we link to and are not responsible for them.

Changes

We may change the site or these terms. If we do, we will update the date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
