Perinton fall leaf pickup

Ongoing service

This affects the Town of Perinton.

What this means

Rake loose leaves to the edge of your property, parallel to the curb, not onto the pavement or behind a mailbox or hydrant. Sticks and debris go in reusable containers (no lids, under 50 pounds) for weekly pickup.

Town crews vacuum up loose leaf piles across Perinton from Labor Day until the snow comes; one full pass of the town's roughly 17,000 residential properties takes about four to six weeks. Rake your leaves to the edge of your property, parallel to the curb, not onto the pavement or into the gutter, and not behind a tree, car, mailbox or hydrant. Bagged or boxed leaves aren't picked up.

Keep sticks and other debris out of the piles. They go in reusable containers without lids, under 50 pounds, which crews empty every week on your regular collection day; the town lists that day street by street on its collection schedule. The town doesn't post a street-by-street leaf schedule; the Highway Department is at (585) 223-5115.

This is the town program. Village crews collect leaves inside the Village of Fairport instead (Village of Fairport, NY leaf pickup).
