A three-story, 39-unit apartment building can go ahead in principle at 1151 Pittsford Victor Road, next to the entrance to Powder Mill Park. Perinton's Town Board granted it a special use permit on August 3, 2026, but other approvals are still needed: a condition of the permit is that the applicant get all other local, state and federal permits and approvals the project requires. Construction hasn't been announced.
The building, called Powder Mill Apartments, would replace a two-story office building on the 2.7-acre site, with 47 parking spaces. Fisher Associates applied on behalf of Powder Mill Land Company, LLC in March 2026. After a public hearing on April 22, the Planning and Conservation Boards reviewed the plan, and revised plans brought the building down to the town's 40-foot height limit and added a trail link to the park.
