Main Street is open again, with new sidewalks, granite curbs, streetlights and realigned crosswalks with flashing beacons between Church Street and Parce Avenue, plus plans for 78 new trees. The street reopened to traffic on November 7, 2025, after months of construction, and the village held a ribbon cutting on November 21, 2025.
The project isn't closed out yet. In July 2026 the village still held unspent bond money for the streetscape, to be used as it finalizes the project, and spent $6,897.50 on it that month. The village hasn't posted a completion date. The Thomas Creek bridge on Main Street was a separate New York State project.
Village Board agendas and minutes are on the village's agenda page.
