Perinton's Town Board is set to decide Monday, October 5 whether to cancel a farmland conservation easement at the southeast corner of Pannell Road and Wilkinson Road. The owner asked so the east half of the 30-acre parcel can be sold to a neighbor. It is a decision item, not a public hearing, but the meeting at 7 pm has a public comment period, in person at Town Hall or on Zoom.

The easement, filed in February 2025, covers about 24.3 acres. Under the draft resolution the owner would pay $11,573.23 in back taxes, penalties and escrow charges. The Town Board sent the petition to the Conservation Board on September 9, and at its September 15 meeting the Conservation Board chair said he would draft a recommendation in support. It is item 10 on the agenda.
