The Village Board is considering borrowing up to $1,000,000 toward a new pumper fire truck. Results of the September meetings aren't posted; the board next meets Tuesday, October 13 at 6 pm at Village Hall, 31 South Main Street.

The truck would cost up to $1,300,000 in all, with $300,000 coming from the village's Fire Rolling Stock Reserve. The bond resolution was on the board's September 14 agenda and again at its September 28 work session. It is subject to a permissive referendum: if the board adopts it, voters can petition to put it to a public vote. Agendas are on the village's Village Board agendas page.
