The Town of Perinton is putting 220 feet of new 24-inch storm sewer pipe under the pavement on a short stretch of Lancashire Way, all inside the town's right of way. The road stays open with one lane of alternating traffic. The town planned to start in late August or early September and expected the work to take one to two weeks. It has not posted whether the pipe work is finished.

The road and gutters get a temporary repair in late fall, and a permanent one in spring 2027.
