Perinton's Town Board has approved public sewers for 52 properties on Pilgrim and Woodcrest Circle, Briarwood Lane and Garden Drive that now use septic systems. The board voted on September 21, 2026, after a public hearing. It can still go to a public vote if a valid petition is filed within 30 days of that vote, and no construction date has been set.

The town estimates the average yearly cost at $293.55 for a typical property that connects and $117.89 for one that does not. The whole project is estimated at $7,712,700, paid with a bond through the sewer district.

The work adds 3,800 feet of sanitary sewer, replaces 4,600 feet of storm sewer and rebuilds the roads. Formally, it is Jefferson Avenue Sewer District Phase 2, Extension No. 74 to Perinton Consolidated Sewer District No. 8.
