Fairport, NY restaurants: where to eat in October 2026
Park once and walk: most restaurants in the village of Fairport, NY are within five minutes of the lift bridge. What's open Sunday and Monday, lunch, pizza, late nights and what's new this October.
For dinner in Fairport, park once and walk. Most of the village's restaurants, pubs and cafes sit within a five-minute walk of the Main Street lift bridge, so you can decide on the sidewalk. The catch is the calendar: Sunday and Monday are when several village kitchens close, and a few places don't post hours at all, so call those before you go.
On the canal
Mulconry's on Liftbridge Lane East, two minutes from the bridge, does boxty, shepherd's pie and bangers and mash, with burgers and wings on the American side and a seasonal patio. The kitchen closes at 9 pm Monday to Thursday, 10 pm Friday and Saturday, and 8 pm Sunday; Sunday brunch runs 11 to 2.
Donnelly's Public House, at Water Street and Liftbridge Lane, pours 33 craft beers and changes its specials board every week. It opens at 11 am (noon on Sunday) and closes at 10 pm Monday to Thursday, 11 pm Friday and Saturday, and 9 pm Sunday.
The Porterhouse at Packett's Landing is the dinner-out choice: reserve Angus meats, veal and seafood, Tuesday to Saturday from 4:30 to 9 pm; Sunday dinners run May through September only.
For dessert, Moonlight Creamery on West Avenue looks at the lift bridge and adds a coffee bar and drinking chocolate made in the Mexican tradition to the ice cream. It stays open until 10:30 pm Sunday to Thursday and 11 pm Friday and Saturday.
