# Privacy Last updated October 3, 2026. Here & Main is run by Holaxis ("we"). This page says what we collect, why, and who handles it. ## The short version - You can read the whole guide without an account, a form or a cookie. - We do not set cookies or use browser storage to track you. - We do not sell personal data. We run no ads and no ad tracking. - If you email us or send a form, we keep what you send so we can act on it, then delete it on the schedule below. ## When you read the guide We do not ask who you are. Our host, Cloudflare, sees your IP address and browser details, as any web host does. We do not use them to identify you. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how fast pages load. Cloudflare says it sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not collect visitors' personal data. We see totals only, never individual visitors. Features such as open-now badges use your device's clock, in your browser. That stays on your device. ## When you email a correction You can email [corrections@hereandmain.com](mailto:corrections@hereandmain.com). We receive what any email contains: your address, your name if your mail program sends it, the subject and the message. Mail to that address passes through Cloudflare on its way to our inbox. We use it only to check and fix the guide and to reply to you. We do not add you to any list. We keep correction emails for 12 months, then delete them. ## When a business sends a post (not open yet) We plan to open a form for businesses to send events and specials. When it opens: - What you send: the business, the post, a contact address, and your agreement to be contacted about the post. - Why: to confirm the post with the business and review it. The details of the post may be published after review. Your contact is never published. - Confirmation: we may email a one-click link to an address the business already confirmed with us, or one it publishes on its own website. The link's code is stored only in scrambled form. - Spam protection: a bot check from our host confirms that a person is sending the form. To limit repeat submissions we keep a one-way code made from your IP address and the date, never the address itself. - Where it goes: a private storage area at our host, then our private review records. - How long: we delete the submission and your contact details 90 days after the post is handled (published or declined). ## Who handles data for us - Cloudflare hosts the site, counts page views for us (Cloudflare Web Analytics) and runs our email routing, forms and storage. We do not share personal data with anyone else, unless the law requires it. ## Google We use the Google Places API, part of Google Maps Platform, behind the scenes to spot listings that may be out of date. It runs on our side, not in your browser. We send Google business names and addresses from our own listings, never anything about you. We keep only Google's place IDs, privately, and show nothing from Google on this site. Google's handling of data is covered by the [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy). Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. ## Children The guide is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. ## Your choices You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
