# Fairport buses: Route 50 daily, On Demand weekdays only

Since Monday, September 7, RTS On Demand rides run on weekdays only and end at 8 pm; the fare is still $3 a ride. Route 50, the Fairport/Penfield bus, runs seven days a week, about every two hours, and stops at Fairport Village Hall.

RTS announced the On Demand change on July 14, 2026, and said fixed routes and RTS Access are not affected. The current Route 50 timetable took effect June 29, 2026; it's on the RTS Monroe [schedule page](https://www.myrts.com/Maps-Schedules/RTS-Monroe/Schedule-pdfs).
