To look up a Fairport or Perinton property's assessment, taxes or past sales, start with Monroe County's [property information page](https://www.monroecounty.gov/property). The county's Real Property Tax Service keeps the assessment rolls and tax maps. For maps, the county's [GIS page](https://www.monroecounty.gov/gis) links map applications and data downloads.

Past sales and assessments describe the past: they aren't current prices, and they don't show whether a property is for sale or for rent.
