# Liftbridge Lane West canal walk is finished

The village rebuilt Liftbridge Lane West as a canal walk and festival street, and finished the work on May 20, 2022. It is a separate project from the [Liftbridge Lane East redesign](liftbridge-east-stopped-concept.md), which the village dropped.
