# Liftbridge Lane East bike lane plan dropped

There will be no separated bike lane on Liftbridge Lane East. The Village Board dropped the redesign on November 13, 2023 and chose plain repaving instead, with storm sewer fixes as needed and no changes to parking or sidewalks. Cyclists keep sharing the road with cars. Whether that repaving has happened isn't posted.
