# Book October electronics recycling before the winter pause

Perinton's electronics recycling is taking appointments for October, then stops from November through April while the town's crews and facility are busy with snow and ice. [Book an October appointment](https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=22294745&appointmentType=21460763) and check the town's list of acceptable materials first; everything from phones and cameras to TVs and computers can go.

If you miss October, the town's Community Recycling Day each May offers free electronics recycling and document shredding for Perinton residents. Household hazardous waste goes to the Monroe County Ecopark, by appointment, all year.
