# Six home lots approved at the end of Shady Lane

Six new single-family homes are planned at the end of Shady Lane, south of Willow Lane. Perinton's Planning Board approved the Ashbury Park subdivision, about 2.41 acres split into six lots, on September 16, 2026. The developer said at the meeting that construction would start next fall at the earliest.

Insite Land Development Inc. applied as agent for the owner; the application had been deferred in April 2024. The approval comes with conditions: deed restrictions on lots 4, 5 and 6 that limit mowing, clear cutting and where the houses can go, keeping as many mature trees as possible, and a contribution to the town's sidewalk fund. The new road will be private, maintained by a homeowners association.

A federal wetland on the site is to be left undisturbed. At the meeting a Shady Lane neighbor questioned how the Army Corps of Engineers had drawn its boundary.
