## History

- A canal-era settlement called Fullam's Basin, with a tavern/post office and warehouses, stood where Perinton Park is today. ([source](https://perinton.gov/departments/historian/historic-areas-in-fairport-perinton/a-brief-history-of-the-village-of-fairport/))
- In 2019 the Hudson River Valley Greenway added trailhead signage and bike parking here as the Canalway Trail became part of the Empire State Trail. ([source](https://perinton.gov/departments/randp/parks-department/parks/perinton-park/))
