# High Acres Nature Area

Habitat area on the grounds of the High Acres Landfill, run by WM, managed for birds, amphibians and insects, with invasive plants being cleared in favor of native ones. WM doesn't say whether visitors can walk it; the landfill holds a family open house, generally in July.
