# Monroe County Board of Elections

For the general election on Tuesday, November 3, polls are open 6 am to 9 pm. Early voting runs Saturday, October 24 through Sunday, November 1, from 9 am to 5 pm except Tuesday and Thursday, when it's noon to 8 pm. You can vote early at any site in the county; Perinton Presbyterian Church, 6511 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport, is one of them. To find your poll site for Election Day, use the board's [election page](https://www.monroecounty.gov/elections).

You can [register](https://www.monroecounty.gov/elections-registration) online through the state's site with a state driver license, permit or non-driver ID, or mail or bring a signed paper form to the board at 435 Smith Street, Rochester. New registrations must reach the board no later than 10 days before the election. Once registered you stay registered; if you move, the board must have your new address at least 10 days before the election. The office is open Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
