# Tax due dates

Three property tax bills come due each year. School taxes are due October 1 and town and county taxes February 10, both paid to the Perinton Receiver of Taxes at Town Hall. Village taxes are due July 1, for property inside the Village of Fairport only, and are paid to the village.

If a due date falls on a day the town offices or the post office are closed, the town takes payment the next business day without interest. The town says it cannot forgive penalties, so a late payment always costs interest.
